An orchid branch in gold, purple shell blooms along a vine, genuine amethyst stones at the heart of each flower, and at the centre of it all, a single baroque pearl.
Baroque pearls are not uniform. They are formed by the ocean without instruction, each one arriving in a shape that could not be predicted or repeated. The pearl on this brooch is yours alone, its curve, its lustre, its particular way of catching light will not exist in any other piece.
The orchid petals are hand-carved from natural shell, the amethyst stones are genuine, and the setting is gold-plated copper with the warm glow of something antique. At 11g it wears lightly for everything it carries.
